"[Jude] would similar to watch SteveDangle'southward videos and crazy reactions and in some ways … Jude has those expressions as well. And a couple years ago at a Blue Jays game, he met SteveDangle and that was a highlight for him." At school, Jude's friends knew him as approachable, kind, funny, and as a kid who tried to include others. He was too, like his parents, a "strong laic in Jesus" and had an exceptional talent of memorizing Bible passages. "Not just because his parents did it, information technology was of import to him too and his hunger to know more about the Bible, who God is, and fifty-fifty days before, we had a chat about heaven," his female parent said. Jamie is an acquaintance pastor at the West Highland Church, which held a service for Jude on Sunday. Erin Strickland, Jude'south aunt, and her husband Ryan Butchereit, say their kids felt especially close to Jude. "Jude was Jude in every scenario and he didn't modify," Ryan said on Monday. One of their fondest memories is of Jude climbing a tree to salvage a neighbor's true cat. But all the memories are bloodshot for his family. "Sometimes it causes joy and sometimes it causes sorrow knowing those moments won't happen again. Looking frontwards and knowing we accept the memories of the past, but nosotros won't be making hereafter memories together with Jude," Jamie said. Jamie and Vanessa added that all the back up has extended Jude'due south legacy, with comments coming from people like MP David Sweet in the Firm of Eatables. "We were extremely touched by that," Jamie said. Asgar Manek, the lawyer who was representing the commuter on Dec. 3, said the state of affairs is "very deplorable" and that his customer was "very emotional" at the police station.
